The short version:when RareCard links you to a card on TCGplayer and you buy something, RareCard may earn a commission. RareCard adds nothing to the price — we don’t set prices, handle the transaction, or take any part of what you pay.

The relationship

RareCard participates in the TCGplayer Affiliate Program, an affiliate advertising program administered through Impact. Card links throughout RareCard — the card images in chat, bolded card names, the “Buy on TCGplayer” buttons, and the buy links on shared deck pages — are affiliate tracking links.

If you follow one of those links and make a purchase, RareCard may earn a commission on the sale. Pricing, availability, payment, shipping, and returns are entirely TCGplayer’s. RareCard is an independent referrer, not a party to your purchase, and doesn’t speak for the store.

What this does and doesn’t change

  • It doesn’t change the answers. Card facts — prices, oracle text, legality, rulings, synergy, and win rates — come from Scryfall, EDHREC, and 17Lands. RareCard is not paid to recommend any particular card, and no commission influences which cards a deck suggestion names or cuts.
  • TCGplayer is the only store we link to.We don’t run comparison links to other marketplaces, so there is no ranking for a commission to bias.
  • RareCard adds nothing to your price.We don’t set prices and take no part of what you pay; our commission comes from TCGplayer, not from you.

What TCGplayer sees

Clicking an affiliate link passes a tracking identifier to Impact and TCGplayer so the referral can be credited. That process is governed by TCGplayer’s privacy policy and Impact’s, not ours. See our own Privacy Policy for what RareCard collects.
